Vivian Delores Jefferson was born on February 28, 1949, in Washington, DC. She departed from this life on Monday, September 12, 2022, after an extended illness.\n\nShe attended public schools in Washington DC. Vivian raised her four children, Taunya Jefferson, Anthony Jefferson, Lisa Jefferson (deceased) and Lorenzo Simpson.\n\n \n\nVivian loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also loved to go shopping, eating out and was an avid Dallas Cowboy. \n\n \n\nIn March 2020, Vivian was blessed to hear the Gospel of Christ and begin studying with Brother Eric Sykes. As a blind person, she intently listened during bible study and enjoyed listening to the Worship Services at Suitland. Vivian was baptized into Christ on March 29, 2020, at the Suitland Road congregation. She was a member of the Suitland Road Church of Christ until her death.\n\n \n\nVivian was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Lisa Jefferson. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Taunya Jefferson: sons: Anthony Jefferson and Lorenzo Simpson. Her loving granddaughter, Lisa Jefferson with whom she lived with and was her caretaker. She also leaves to cherish her memories other grandchildren: Alonzo Jones, Quantae Jones, Quantress Jones; Great-grandchildren, Tamar Coon, Taniah Coon, Delissia Jefferson, Zoey Jones, Alonzo Jones, Jr., Ace Jones, Quan-Melo Roberts, Makayla Roberts, Makai Roberts, and a host of other family & friends.
