Amira Jean Kuhl, born December 15, 2016, died on May 1, 2017 after bringing four and a half months of joy to her parents and the world. There is no known cause. In her short but beautiful life, Amira was loved every moment by her parents, Aysha Keisler and David Kuhl. She loved to snuggle, sit on her daddy’s lap outside, listen to music and sing with her mommy, play with balloons, read, and simply watch the world around her in wonder. Amira was baptized on April 23, 2017 with her godmother Liz Donegan and godfather John Kuhl.
Amira is survived by a large and loving family: her grandparents Sam and Anisa Keisler and Jean Kuhl; her aunts and uncles Shafi Keisler, Kelly Dickens, John and Kathy Kuhl, Shahana Keisler, Betsy and Gus Marmaras, Joe Kuhl, Marc Keisler, and Sara Keisler. Her cousins: Gwen and Rosie Kuhl, Ben, Allie and Conner Marmaras, and Athena and Natasha Keisler. Her godmother, Liz, and her loving nanny, Tiara. Amira joins her grandfather Arthur Kuhl in heaven.
Amira will be remembered every day as the fun, sweet, giggly, beautiful little girl who loved life and loved people. Her parents will continue spread her love and joy for her.
Those who wish, may honor Amira’s memory by donating to the Children’s National Foundation, to benefit the hospital emergency room department that worked so hard to revive her.
